Choose Privacy Week, May 1-7, 2014, is a time to advocate for privacy rights and to examine how we can protect ourselves against threats to these rights.
In day three of Choose Privacy Week, we invite you to view the short video Facebook Killed the Private Life, in which NYU professor Clay Shirky discusses how social networks are changing the definition of what we consider private. In this digital age we live in, people are using social networks to interact with friends and family. These interactions can sometimes become accessible to anyone, anywhere. When doing this, are they forfeiting their right to privacy?
