The African American Historical Museum is hosting their MARCH Book One Book Club tonight in the lower level of Brookens Library at 6:00 pm. If you have read the graphic memoir and would like to attend, the club is FREE and open to the public. We hope to see you there.
“MARCH Book One” is the first book out in the graphic memoir trilogy. It follows the real life struggles of John Lewis during the height of the civil rights movement.
The authors and illustrator of MARCH, Congressman John Lewis, Andrew Aydin and Nate Powell are scheduled to speak at the UIS Sangamon Auditorium on Monday, October 19th at 7:00 pm.
