End of the Year Happenings at Brookens

The end of the semester is a busy time. We are here to help you finish strong by staying open extra hours and by offering fun & free, stress relieving opportunities. See what all we have going on before the close of the semester. 

Get into the holiday spirit by making decorations to take home to your family and friends at our Holiday Flair Pop-Up event. On December 5, from 4:00 – 6:00pm on the main floor of the library, we will have a crafting station set up where you can make ornaments, holiday decor and more with book covers! This fun, free event will be sure to get you feeling festive!

Extended Library Operating Hours: Monday – Friday, December 4th – 8th

We know you are busy preparing for the end of the semester. The week before finals, Brookens Library will be extending our operating hours by 3 hours each day Monday – Friday. We will be open from 8:30 am – 3:00 am Monday-Thursday (December 4-7) and from 8:30 am – 9:00 pm on Friday (December 8). We will also be providing coffee, bananas and other snacks late in the evening.

Free Cereal Bar: Monday, December 11, 4:00 – 7:00 pm

The Friends of Brookens Library invite you to come enjoy a free bowl of cereal the Monday of Finals Week (December 11 from 4-7pm). Here we will have a variety of cereals and milks available for you to build your own bowl. We hope to make your finals week a little bit sweeter!

Cookie Decorating: Tuesday, December 12, 2:00 – 4:00 pm

Finals week can be stressful. Take a break from your studies to decorate holiday cookies in the library! All supplies will be provided by Norris Nation.
