How to Tuesday: How to Take a Break at Brookens

This week’s How-to Tuesday focuses on how to relax and take a break from your studies while at Brookens. We offer a number of ways for you to de-stress including:

StickTogether Sticker Sheets

These sheets are located on the Second Floor and are great to work on alone or in collaboration with others. All you need to do is take a look at the poster grid, find the sticker color that corresponds with the letter found on the grid, stick the color onto the grid, and repeat. After a while, the image starts to take shape.

LEGOS

That’s right! We have the classic, interlocking, plastic blocks here on the Second Floor. Stop by the LEGO table today and build your worries away.

Kinetic Sand

There is something so soothing about having your hands in the sand. If this particular sensation appeals to you, then make your way to our Kinetic Sand table on the Second Floor. This sand has the appearance of dry sand, mimics the properties of wet sand, and can be molded into a variety of shapes.

Giant Bean Bags

The picture says it all.

As Midterms approach, self-care is particularly important, so stop by Brookens and de-stress today.
