What is your favorite thing about being a student at UIS?:The small size of the university makes it feel like home, along with those on campus. i enjoy having a university that is small, because the relationships you are able to establish with your professors and administrators is something that would be impossible if I were at another university. The opportunities presented at this campus also makes the list as one of my favorite things about UIS.

What are your goals for the semester?: A few of my goals are to continue to develop as an individual in terms of leadership skills, to finish off all of my graduate school applications before the initial deadlines, and to laugh more and worry less. During my undergrad I did quite a bit of stressing, and that has hindered my enjoyment many of the things that UIS offers. Because it is my last year, I want to enjoy it while also learning so that my experience here is memorable.

If there were a reality TV show of your life, what would it be called? Why?: It’s Lit Like a Candle- I’d probably choose this because there is never a point in my life that SOMETHING isn’t happening. What is your favorite thing about being a student at UIS?: My favorite thing about being a student at UIS is that the campus size is not too large, which means you can get to know your professors and your classmates better. I keep seeing familiar faces in my classes and I actually got to know some awesome individuals! And since the class size ranges from small to medium, every student has equal opportunities to get directly involved in class activities as well!

What are your goals for the semester?: Since this will be my last semester at UIS, I will keep staying focused on my studies as I have always been in order to gain the best results. After all, I always aim to maintain a solid performance with whatever I am working on.

If there were a reality TV show of your life, what would it be called? Why?: I would probably name it “Let it proof” to show how patience and enduring effort can gradually put you in a better place day after day. I hope that could be something motivational to keep others going.

Are you involved in any clubs/activities/sports on campus? Or what are your hobbies?: I am not actively involved in any clubs or activities on campus. During my free time I often spend time cooking/baking or drawing. These are the two activities that I can spend hours and hours tirelessly.

What have you learned since working at the library?: I have learned to slow down and always double check my work because our priority is accuracy and precision after all. I also realized that other than processing actual books we got lots of online projects to work on. My communication skills has improved as communication is the key to keep everyone on the same page and to clear any confusions between me, my bosses, and other fellow student workers.

What are your post-graduation plans?: Upon graduation I will certainly start on my job search! I am planning on applying for an advertising agency because I love to work under a creative environment!
